About Watermark ARES

The Apnea Risk Evaluation System (ARES™) uses data acquired with an in-home sleep apnea test combined with clinical history and anthropomorphic data to determine whether the patient has OSA. This innovative device has several advantages over other home sleep testing systems. It involves wearing a wireless physiological recorder on the forehead while sleeping to measure:

Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO2)
Pulse Rate (reflectance pulse oximetry)
Airflow (via a nasal cannula)
Snoring Levels (via a calibrated acoustic microphone)
Head Movement and Head Position (via accelerometers)
